La 63° edizione dei Grammy Awards è stata molto diversa da quelle a cui siamo abituati. Niente spettacolarità, la maggior parte dei nominati erano a casa e, ovviamente, niente pubblico. D’altro canto, le esibizioni sono state meravigliose e l’emozione degli artisti era sempre e comunque palpabile. È stata, inoltre, un’edizione che ha visto trionfare le donne: molti dei premi più importanti sono infatti andati alle artiste protagoniste di questo anno difficile per il mondo della musica. Ecco quindi tutti i vincitori dei Grammy 2021.

Da Harry Styles a Beyoncé: i vincitori dei Grammy 2021

Sebbene non abbia potuto essere una celebrazione come quelle passate, l’edizione 2021 non è stata povera di momenti veramente spettacolari. A fare gli onori di casa è stato il comico Trevor Noah, che ha presentato la serata nell’arena di Staples Center di Los Angeles. Ad aprire le danze è stato Harry Styles, che ha cantato la sua summer hit Watermelon Sugar. Styles era inoltre in nomination per ben tre premi, ma ha portato a casa solo quello per la Best Pop Solo Performance proprio per la hit. Si trattava, inoltre, della prima partecipazione ai Grammy per l’ex membro degli One Direction.

Quest’anno, inoltre, ha visto le donne trionfare sui colleghi uomini. Il 2020 è stato infatti un vero e proprio annus horribilis, che ha però permesso alle donne di imporsi nel campo dell’arte: lo scorso anno, infatti, è stato anche quello con il maggior numero di film diretti da donne. Ecco quindi che i maggiori premi dei Grammy 2021 sono andati a signore della musica. Si parte con Beyoncé, che porta a casa quattro statuette e arriva così a 28 in totale: è la donna più premiata della storia. Taylor Swift, inoltre, vince per la terza volta di fila il premio per l’album dell’anno, con Folklore, un record detenuto da Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder e Paul Simon.

E non è tutto: Megan Thee Stallion vince il premio come migliore nuova artista, Billie Eilish ha il miglior disco, Lady Gaga e Ariana Grande possono invece vantare il miglior duo pop (il primo nella storia ad essere vinto interamente da donne), H.E.R. ha invece il brano dell’anno. Insomma, un vero e proprio trionfo per la fetta femminile dell’arte, da sempre sottovalutata e considerata quasi “inferiore”.
