Digital Haute Couture: Stephane Rolland Spring Summer 2021

Stephane Rolland’s inspiration behind his designs

The digital haute couture show will be presented from the 25th to the 28th of January with 28 fashion houses ready to present the Spring/Summer 2021 couture collection. Stephane Rolland is one of the fashion houses that will be presenting his Haute Couture collection for the Spring Summer 2021. The French designer is known for the modern art and architecture inspiration behind his designs. The designer launched his first collection at the age of 40. His brand was instantly acknowledged by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, making him an official couturier.

He’s also known for combining luxury and modernity in all of his designs by producing new materials that brings together sophistication, volumes, art and craftsmanship. At the age of 40 Many celebrities wear Stephane Rolland’s creations such as Céline Dion, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Rita Ora. The designer’s goal is to reveal the identity of the woman sensuality when wearing one of his designs. His creativity comes from several medium such as photography, sculpture, paintings and focuses on sculptural shapes in his creations.

Digital Spring/Summer 2021 Haute Couture looks

For this digital haute couture Spring/Summer 2021 collection, the designer presented a total of 16 looks. As usual, not many colors were seen in this year’s collection with only black and white as the main colors of the show. But a lot of statement pieces were seen on the model. The show started with a wide tunic in black watered fabric and sleeves embroidered with Art Deco bracelets in crystals. Also, in white, a saroual jumpsuit in golden lame crepe and white gazar wings with a neck embroidered with gold.

The garments were a mix of tight dresses and corsets to oversized pants. One of the looks presented a corset embroidered with gold chains mixed with large pants in black satin and to complete the look a black orchid headpiece. Finally, the last look “ La Mariée” was a menine gown, a corset in white leather laces embellished with crystalized metal fringes “Watteau”. The hair styling was done by Fred Pavard from Alexandre De Paris and the make-up credits goes to Tom Sapin from M.A.C.
