Gucci revealed the new collaboration with the North Face
Early September, Gucci discreetly revealed their partnership with The North Face on the social networks of the Kering fashion house. The brand released three short videos with a flag waved by the fresh wind of the high mountains. But recently, Gucci officially makes the partnership with The North Face with an advertising of the capsule in the name of exploration. The two opposite brands fill the gap between the high-end luxury and the streetstyle/sporty outerwear.
The collection’s aim is to show exploration, self-discovery and encourage people to wear the garment to find new territories. In fact self-discovery has always been a concept that both brands share mutually. For this reason, Alessandro Michele, creative director of the fashion house had in mind a campaign set in the Alps inspired by the 70’s aesthetic. Moreover, the campaign was shot by photographer Daniel Shea. The Tik-Tok videos show a group of hikers wearing Gucci garments camping by the lakes and on the peaks of mountains. Whether it’s the men’s or women’s clothes, accessories and even unusual items related to outdoor equipment.
The new Collection
The collection is based on sustainability. Furthermore, the materials used are coming from regenerated materials using nylon fabric.
Also the distribution of the capsule collection will start in China in some of the Gucci design stores where the decoration will be bright floral motifs that creates special effects that will remind the concept of the line. Also the capsule collection will be available to buy on the Gucci’s website with some clothes that will exclusively sold online.
