H&M X Simone Rocha a Romantic Collection

H&M X Simone Rocha Collection, the new year’s collaboration brings joy to the many customer who have been waiting as the world of fashion was taking a little rest due to the pandemic which has affected lots of business including big fashion retail houses and labels. Although, for the first time the London-based Irish Designer Simone Rocha universe is opened up and widen up to everyone to celebrate the 10-year anniversary. A highlight of any fashion fan’s calendar, the high street stalwart’s designer collaborations are eagerly-anticipated by millions around the fashion world.

This H&M collaboration with Rocha will make her signature aesthetic available for more customers to discover. The collection took a little longer than either party expected due to restrictions caused by the pandemic, but it is finally set to launch globally online and in H&M stores on March 11th and will span womenswear, menswear and children (a first for the designer), ranging from special occasion pieces to outerwear to accessories. In addition, H&M promises that many of the Simone Rocha touches tartan, beading, Tudor-inspired silhouettes will be seen in the final product, which ” A homage to key collections that have defined the Simone Rocha brand story”.

Into the Simone Rocha World

Rocha’s world has been around family, community, details and fabrication. There are many facets of womanhood and designer Simone Rocha is same. Born in Dublin in 1986, her work and collection are a tribute to what she holds dear. However, she started her career as part of the talent hub Fashion East. She got lot of praise on her modern beauty as she reclaimed ‘girlish’ elements like floral, pearls, embellishment, decorative collars in a distinct manner.

H&M and Simone Rocha Milestone

Simone Rocha has been lauded for putting forward romantic, wistful collections. The amalgamation of the Baroque, Regency and Victorian periods styled in ways that gives them a contemporary edge. She garnered the British Fashion Awards for Emerging Talent in 2013 and the New Establishment Award in 2014. In the same year she was named a finalist for the LVMH Prize and walked home with the British Womenswear Designer Award in 2016. She has become internationally renowned for her intricate and meticulously-researched collections, always with a nod to her own heritage: Ireland and Hong Kong. In conclusion, the Swedish Retail house H&M is expecting her to join like many other past designers collaborations with Giambattista Valli, Erdem, Moschino, Balmain, Isabel Marant on a limited-edition collection that, historically, sells out within hours.
