Jennifer Lopez started off with new music video “In The Morning” in the year 2021 with a bang, closing out 2020 with a rocking New year’s Performance. 51-year-old pop icon is already showing off her insanely fit bod in the new music video for her song “In The Morning” on Triller and it’s an ethereal trend fantasy stuffed with designer labels.

The surreal video was released on all social media platforms on Friday and styled by Lopez’s most favourite stylists, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. The look consists of the trio’s signature glamorous aesthetic. In this video, Lopez plays an angel sent from above who happens to have a unique style in couture. An introduction with Lopez floating in a celestial space, wearing a pastel Iris van Herpen gown that moves—no, dances—in the wind.
Her Style Statement
In another scene, she leans back on a bed while sporting a crystal dress by Peruvian designer, Augusto Manzanares paired with dramatic Mother Plucker wings. Lopez wears the wings solo, with nothing underneath. She went on to share about the video’s meaning, and wrote an inspiring message on Instagram to her fans. “It’s full of symbolism about a dark one-sided relationship and the realization that you can’t change anyone else … you can only change yourself!!! Grow your own wings and walk away from anyone or anything that doesn’t truly value all you have to offer.”
The most noticing moment from the video includes a white, curve-hugging gown by designer Marco Marco, a glamorous tinfoil look, consisting of a metallic Graham Cruz top with a matching Lever Couture skirt; she even plays high-fashion mermaid, “swimming” in the air wearing a silver Manuel Albarran top and Iggy Soliven tail. The best fashion moment of all, however, comes near the end of the video. Lopez emerges in a tiered, feathered Valentino coat that stands several feet high, complete with a Marianna Harutunian crystal mask.
