Kate Lila Grace Moss First to Wear Dior’s Artsy New Collaboration
Kate and Lila Grace Moss are the first models to wear Dior’s Arty New Collaboration with Scottish artist Peter Doig. Like every year, the most attractive thing of Dior Men’s show is seeing Kate Moss in the front row of the fashion show. This year, designer Kim Jones always wants Moss to check out each season’s new collection and asks her to test drive a few runway pieces before anyone else gets the chance. So, Kate Moss didn’t say no for this new Dior collaboration as her inspired take on Menswear is always delightful to Kim Jones. The collaboration between Kim Jones and Peter Doig extends to the décor of the digital show: the stage is an artwork, an installation devised by Doig, of blue skies. Stacked sound systems reference those in Doig’s paintings such as Speaker/Girl (2015).
Kate & Lila Grace Moss Mother-Daughter Duo
In addition to putting a Gen-Z twist on Jones’s signature collection pieces, this time Lila Grace, who is equally as stylish as Kate, has joined her mother during the show. The mother-daughter duo provided the men’s collections with a breathtaking model style moment at the live-streamed fall/winter show. The pair got dressed up to tune in virtually, previewing Dior’s collaboration.
Kate wore a retro white blouse, peppy pastel blue high waisted trousers, and a matching plush fur coat. Moss stayed true to her brand of nonchalant cool with her hair in center-parted waves and minimal makeup. Subtle details like her shirt’s elongated cuffs and her heels’ glossy patent texture ensured that Moss’ outfit differed from the lilac version of the same look worn by male model, Issa Naciri, as he closed the show. Whereas Lila Grace embraced Doig’s abstract prints in a colourful, belted boiler suit with short sleeves worn over a white button-down. The glossy sheen and the rich shades of sapphire, burgundy, and rust felt youthful and fun.
