New York Fashion Week: the American Collections Calendar
New York Fashion Week 2021: the American Collections Calendar is finally available
The New York Fashion Week will take off on February 15th. The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) just released the American Collections Calendar, previously called the New York Fashion Week Schedule.
CFDA’a president, Tom Ford, wanted to represent also those American designers that usually show their collections in places other than New York, like Milan, Paris and London. The designers will present their collections before or after the official dates. Among these brands we have Carolina Herrera (February 22nd), Coach (February 23rd), Christian Siriano (February 25th), Oscar de la Renta (March 2nd), Altuzarra (March 3rd) and last but not least Thom Browne (March 5th).
Zero + Maria Cornejo and Kazaburo already showed their collections, on February 4th and 10th respectively.
New York Fashion Week – The calendar
New York is ready to show off the best designers of the country, even in a fashion word still heavily impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. In fact, many shows will not be held in presence but rather premiered digitally. Here are some of the shows you shouldn’t miss for any reason. The full calendar is available on CFDA’s official website, and the shows are visible on their website or on NYWF’s website. The digital shows will be available thanks to Runway360‘s support.
