Travelers has officially been confirmed for a third season. The series’ lead Eric McCormack confirmed while sharing the news with his fans that the show will indeed return for season 3 last March. He also shared that he’ll be directing the series which is slated to be released only on Netflix. But the official Travelers Twitter account recently confirmed that the production is well underway. And if our guess is correct and Netflix keeps with the release schedule of the first two seasons, fans could be treated to season 3 by December 2018.

And if you are new to the family, here’s a little something about the series. Travelers is a science-fiction Canadian series that premiered worldwide on December 23 2016. The series was created by Canadian television producer Brad Wright. The show follows the life of six main characters who are a team of operatives from the post-apocalyptic future who have been sent to the 21st Century. Each team member has a specific skill set. The travelers’ conscious-nesses are deposited into the bodies of 21st Century common people just before their deaths, enabling them to carry out their task of altering the history positively so as to save the world in the future without any suspicion.
