Calendario New York Fashion Week autunno/inverno 2018-19
La New York Fashion Week è alle porte e rivela un’agenda ricca di appuntamenti.
Fin dai suoi inizi, la New York FashionWeek è stata eletta incubatore dei giovani talenti della moda e anche durante la prossima sessione, molti saranno i talenti emergenti che avranno la possibilità di dividersi gli show con le griffe affermate.
La settimana della moda newyorkese, a differenza delle fashion week europee, proporrà spettacoli a cielo aperto che si alterneranno, ad ogni modo, a show su invito.
Tra gli spettacoli più attesi è doveroso menzionare The #METOO Fashion Show che si terrà il 9 febbraio alle ore 17:30.
L’evento nasce dalla necessità di celebrare le vittime degli abusi sessuali alla luce delle denunce di alcune attrici rivolte ai danni del produttore cinematografico Weinstein.
Lo show si pone l’obiettivo di incoraggiare le giovani donne a denunciare, di vincere la paura e la vergogna, e di raccontare la propria esperienza.
Per tal ragione in rete è stato lanciato il seguitissimo l’hashtag #METOO il cui scopo è quello di creare un filo immaginario in grado di creare un ponte comunicativo tra le vittime.
La New York Fashion Week, che sarà inaugurata il prossimo 8 febbraio 2018, chiuderà i battenti il 16, passando il testimone alla settimana della moda londinese.
