Vanity case 化妆箱 是指一个内含化妆洗漱用品的旅行包，更常被称为“美妆盒”。化妆箱在 19 世纪出现，当时它的装饰还十分华丽，内部设有隔层，装有水晶和银制小瓶、刷子和用象牙、玳瑁和银制作的梳子和修甲用具。外部用小羊皮等皮革包裹，或是使用更奢侈的材料，例如梵克雅宝（ Van Cleef & Arpels ）在上世纪三十年代生产的用金、漆、珐琅制作的化妆箱，堪称一件行走的珠宝。
