Zucchero: stasera all’Olympia la canzone omaggio alle vittime delle stragi di Parigi 1
Stasera e domani sera Zucchero suonerà a Parigi all’Olympia, e dedicherà il brano ‘Streets of Surrender (S.O.S.)‘ alle vittime dell’attacco dello scorso 13 novembre

Questa sera echeggeranno all’Olympia di Parigi le note di ‘Streets of Surrender (S.O.S.)‘ brano composto circa un anno fa da Zucchero subito dopo i tragici attentati che hanno colpito a morte il Bataclan e la capitale francese, completato dalle parole del collega e amico Bono Vox che ha scritto un testo esplicitamente dedicato alla notte e agli eventi del 13 novembre scorso.
Al sito Le Parisien Zucchero ha raccontato così la storia del brano: ‘Stavo terminando il mio ultimo album e avevo scritto la musica di questa canzone, ma non avevo ancora il testo. Dopo aver fatto un’apparizione a sorpresa al concerto degli U2 a Torino nel settembre 2015 ho chiesto a Bono di scrivermi un testo per quella melodia. Poi non ho più avuto notizie da parte sua nelle successive settimane, finché un giorno mi ha inviato il suo testo, spiegandomi che parlava della notte del 13 novembre‘.
Zucchero presenterà stasera e domani nella capitale francese il nuovo disco Black Cat, album uscito a sei anni di distanza dall’ultima raccolta di inediti Chocabeck ed è un album più classico e cantautorale rispetto ai precedenti, legato a sonorità gospel e country e a chiare american roots. Il concerto di stasera sarà in diretta su Radio Italia, a partire dalle 20.40.
