Dopo Sanremo, l’Eurovision, i concerti in tutto il mondo e il sold out al Circo Massimo, i Maneskin incassano un altro incredibile riconoscimento: ben due nomination agli MTV VMA 2022.

D’altronde, nemmeno il Covid è riuscito a fermarli: Damiano, Victioria, Ethan e Thomas sono ormai a tutti gli effetti delle star internazionali. E, come tali, si meritano un posto tra i grandi in nomination per uno dei premi più ambiti dai musicisti di tutto il mondo: quella degli MTV VMA, Video Music Awards 2022.

Maneskin ancora una volta inarrestabili: dopo il sold out al Circo Massimo, arrivano 2 nomination agli MTV VMA 2022

Arrivare tra i fortunati in nomination per gli MTV VMA, si sa, non è affatto facile. Dopotutto, si tratta di un contest internazionale su scala globale, che premia i migliori videoclip del mondo lanciati negli ultimi 12 mesi. Di solito, l’elenco delle candidature è monopolizzato da artisti inglesi e pop star americane. Ma se c’era qualcuno che poteva portare ben alta la bandiera italiana tra le nomination degli MTV Music Video Awards, quelli erano proprio i Maneskin.

La band romana, al culmine di un successo inauguratosi con la vittoria del Festival di Sanremo 2021 ed esplosa con il trionfo sul palco dell’Eurovision di Rotterdam, ha infatti conquistato anche questo traguardo. Reduci del sold out al Circo Massimo di Roma, infatti, i Maneskin hanno ottenuto ben due nomination agli MTV VMA 2022: quella nella categoria Best Alternative (con la hit I wanna be your slave) e in quella Best New Artist.

Due categorie prestigiose, ma di certo alla portata del “fenomeno Maneskin”. Dopo essersi aggiudicati il prestigioso riconoscimento come Best Rock agli MTV EMA Awards (in passato vinto da artisti del calibro dei Foo Fighters, dei Coldplay e degli Imagine Dragons), infatti, tutto è possibile.

Per scoprire fino a che punto si spingeranno i Maneskin sul palco degli MTV Music Video Awards 2022, però, dovremo aspettare il 28 agosto 2022, quando si terrà la cerimonia di consegna dei VMAs al Prudential Center di Newark, nel New Jersey.
